What it is
MeridianLink One is a cloud lending and deposit account opening platform covering consumer and mortgage origination, business lending, point of sale, marketing automation, collections and analytics. Its AI layer, MeridianLink Intelligence, is marketed as Millie and deploys role-based agents inside the platform. The first named agent, Doc Agent for MeridianLink Mortgage, turns underwriting conditions into borrower-ready document requests, reviews what the borrower sends for completeness and relevance, and extracts structured data back into the application. General availability is planned for Q4 2026, with a Consumer version in early 2027. Centerbridge Partners completed a $2.0 billion all-cash take-private in October 2025, so the company is no longer NYSE-listed.
What it does
- Consumer, mortgage and business lending with deposit account opening on one platform
- Doc Agent, which converts underwriting conditions into borrower document requests
- Automatic review of borrower submissions for completeness and relevance
- Collections, marketing automation and analytics on a unified data platform
- A marketplace for third-party models, including Zest AI decisioning
Strengths
- The only vendor in this research that names the community band in a regulatory filing: the FY2024 10-K states it caters largely to community banks and credit unions with $100 million to $10 billion in assets
- About 2,000 financial institution customers as of 31 December 2024 across banks, credit unions, mortgage lenders and specialty lenders
- The open marketplace lets an institution plug in outside decisioning such as Zest AI rather than being locked to MeridianLink's own models
- AI assistants consistently frame it as the option that avoids enterprise implementation weight
Considerations
- The AI agents are largely not shipped. Doc Agent for Mortgage is planned for Q4 2026 general availability and the Consumer version for early 2027, so a buyer today is buying roadmap
- Now private under Centerbridge, so the public disclosure a buyer could diligence ends with the FY2024 10-K
- Strength is consumer, mortgage and account opening. Commercial credit analysis, spreading and memo generation are much thinner than at nCino or Abrigo
- The weakest AI-assistant coverage of the lending group, with two of five not naming it at all
Best when
Consumer and mortgage origination is the purchase and the AI can arrive later.

Is MeridianLink still publicly traded?
No. Centerbridge Partners completed a $2.0 billion all-cash take-private at $20.00 per share on 24 October 2025 and the stock was delisted from the NYSE, so public disclosure ends with the FY2024 10-K.
When does MeridianLink Doc Agent become available?
General availability for the Mortgage version is planned for Q4 2026, with a Consumer version in early 2027. Treat present-tense claims about it accordingly.
